This special study invited experts in the fields of maritime search and rescue, salvage, fire fighting, oil spill and other fields to form an advisory expert group to carry out a special study on two pilot projects: emergency rescue of passenger-rolling ship fire danger and rapid response to major offshore oil spill emergencies.
